To provide an efficient and effective Customer Service to the general public on a daily basis, whilst simultaneously ensuring that the rights and privileges of the Belonger population are not compromised.

This is achieved through:

• Consultation with the Hon. Minister of Immigration, to establish and implement Board policies that are consistent with and support economic development in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
   
• Scrutinizing and monitoring the quality and quantity of permits without prejudice to nationality, creed or colour.
   
• Providing without fear or favour efficient Customer Service and Public Relations to members of the general public, keeping them informed of all new Policies and Regulations.
   
• Maintaining accurate and up to date data on all permit holders residing in the TCI.
